We’re John and Marissa Frazier, and this website is a reflection of the life we’ve built together—the careers we've pursued, the people we've been fortunate enough to know, the places we've traveled, and the lessons we've learned along the way.

 

John is a retired U.S. Navy veteran, author, and former executive. His 22-year Naval career took him around the world and included five combat deployments, experiences that shaped his understanding of leadership, resilience, responsibility, service, and the importance of appreciating the people who share the journey.

 

After his military career, John continued working in leadership and executive roles before turning more of his attention toward writing. His books explore life, resilience, relationships, change, and the unexpected lessons found in ordinary experiences.

 

Marissa brings her own equally meaningful journey to our story. A manager and business leader for more than 20 years, she has built her career around leadership, people, and getting things done. Today, she serves as CEO of Fathom Management, where she continues to lead with the same principles that have defined her professional life: integrity, accountability, relationships, and a genuine commitment to people.

Together, we've built a life that has always been about more than our careers.

 

We are the proud parents of two sons and grandparents to four grandchildren. Family is at the heart of who we are, and some of our most meaningful moments are the simple ones—time with our children and grandchildren, conversations with friends, traveling somewhere we've never been, or sitting together and enjoying the moment.

 

We are both lifelong learners, outdoor enthusiasts, travelers, and people who believe that every person we meet has something to teach us.

 

John has always enjoyed putting those lessons into words. Marissa has always had a gift for turning ideas into action. In many ways, that's what makes us a good team.

Both believe in people.

 

And both believe that how you live the journey matters just as much as where it takes you.

 

We’re grateful for the life we've been given, the people who have become part of our story, and the opportunity to keep learning, working, writing, traveling, and making memories together.

 

And yes, there’s still golf.

 

John considers himself a struggling but enthusiastic golfer, a description Marissa has graciously allowed him to publish. LOL
